I've always wondered about mining. I always thought it required too much equipment for me to do myself. This is true, but because it is constantly monitoring prices and switching to the most profitable altcoin available, I think it is also true that it often may be more profitable than native steem mining with steemd.
With that I mean more like it may not always have the fastest miner for the specific algorithm and hardware, for example the OpenCL hashrate for the Zcash algorithm is slower than what other miners offer at the moment.
